Chili Implement Fall Shootout @ Marshfield Motor Speedway
This last Saturday was the Last race of 3 at Marshfield Motor Speedway and Their championship night. We had 15 cars that qualified. 1 car that broke in practice. Great speed from everyone and some great times. Kamren Hill took quick time. He was followed by Phil Malouf, Tim Anderson, and Adam Eckes in 5th. Then it was Travis Hill in 6th, and he was followed by Mark Dewey, George Sparkman, Tim Finstad, and Joe Kuehn in 10. From there, it was Cameron Kemnetz in 11th, Justin Schelitzche, Josh Wilhite, Pat Dickman, and Rylie Mullin in 15th. In heat 1, you had Tim Finstad taking home the heat race. He was followed by Josh Wilhite, Justin Schelitzche, Cameron Kemnetz, Joe Kuehn, Pat Dickman, and Rylie Mullin. In heat 2, it was Phil Malouf taking home the win. He was followed by Mark Dewey, Kamren Hill, George Sparkman, Tim Anderson, Anna Malouf, Travis Hill, and Adam Eckes. Feature time. Just watching and seeing how things went in the heat races, we knew it was going to be a good race. It was Justin and Cameron leading everyone to the green with Justing taking the early lead. It was a battle for 3rd during the first lap with George, Joe, and Finstand all for the most part 3 wide going in to turn 3. But Finstand and George ended up behind Joe coming across the line. All while everyone is grabbing what they could behind them. Eckes starts making his move on Finstad to make a bid for 5th, with Anderson on their tails, Finstad not backing away from a good battle keeps it there while George makes a bid for 2nd. Kamren is also making ground and is challenging dewey for 8th. But Phil not letting everyone else have all the excitement goes outside of Dewey in turns 3 making it 3 wide and everyone keeping it clean. But George falls back with issues as Kamren and Phil gets by Dewey. At this point, Justing gets a great lead on the field. And the cars behind him are all bunched up with battles going. Unfortunately, Finstad and Ekes get tided up with Finstad into the inside wall ending their night. That was not what Justing wanted. His lead evaporated. Double file restart put Joe on the outside of Justing as they take the green. Justin does what he can, But Joe stays on him and gets by on the outside. While Kamren moves on by and gets to 2nd setting his sights on Joe. Phil follows on the outside and gets by Justin. Kamren makes quick work of Joe and starts pushing to get away the best he could. But Phil was right there trying to get by Joe. Making the gap bigger between him and Kamren. The battle for 6th was Anna, Josh, Cameron, and Dewey. With Anna getting ahead while Josh has an issue going into turn 3 allowing Cameron and Dewey by. Dewey gets by Cameron and starts working on Justin with only a few laps to go. Justin did everything he could, but Dewey got by that last lap. After it was all said and done, It was Kamren Hill taking him the 20 lap feature. He was followed by Phil Malouf, Joe Kuehn, Anna Malouf, and Mark Dewey in 5th. Then it was Justin Schelitzche in 6th. He was followed by Cameron Kemnetz, Travis Hill, Rylie Mullin, and Tim Anderson in 10th. Then it was Josh Wilhite, Tim Finstad, George Sparkman, PatDickman, and Adam Eckes.
