This week we return to Dells Raceway Park for our final race of the season. And its going to be a good one.
This year like last, we will also crown a champion. Can Phil hold of Anna, Mark D, and Justin S? We will find out.
Last year we ended up having 15 cars race the feature. But only 13 were able to qualify. Couple of people had issues and could not qualify.
Last year Blake Nottestad took home quick time. He was followed by George Sparkman, Tim Anderson, Mark English, and Justin Pearson. Last year’s Heat winners were Anna Malouf and Phil Malouf. But when it came to the Feature, it was Blake Nottestand taking home the win. Then it was Tim Anderson, Mark English, Phil Malouf, and then Anna Malouf.
It was some great racing last year overall. This year will be no different. The field looks like it will be filled with some good drivers again this year. Anna, Phil, Mark Dewey and English, Karter Stark, Justin Schelitzche and many others.
Who will take home the final race win of the season? Does Phil have enough left in him and his car to Win the Championship? Or will something happen and Someone else get it?
For the drivers and crew members, Friday night there is practice at the track if you would like. The gates open at 11 and practice starts at 12. Practice will end at 5. Saturday, gates will open at 8:30am. Drivers meeting in Turn 2 bleachers at 10:15. After the tracks drivers meeting, we will go off to the side and have our drivers meeting. Practice will start at 11. There is only 1 practice session. That is at 11:45 to 12. At 12:30, Qualifying begins, and we are the first group up. 2 laps. At 2pm, racing starts. We will be after the trucks for our heats and feature.
For Spectators, Front gates open at 11am. Classes on tap, Midwest Dash, 602 Late Models, Midwest Trucks, and the Super Late Models. And every class will crown a champion after the races is over.
Don’t forget, we are also doing Contingencies. You can sponsor a lap and for what position you want. This is all for the drivers. We as a series does what we can. We all know everyone out there puts everything they can into the cars. So, lets show some love and help with this. Reach out to Mark Dewey, Nancy Malouf, or Phil Malouf for any questions and what to do.
