This last Saturday (July 25th), we were back at Golden Sands Speedway with the joined efforts of the Solutionsllc Badger State Four Banger Shootout and with the locals of the track
22 cars showed up. Couple had some issues. But it was Matt Berger taking home fast time with a 13.924. He was followed by Shawn Kemnetz, Josh Rusch, Jason Uttech, and Mark Dewey in 5th. 6th on back was Phil Malouf, Josh Wilhite, Anna Malouf, Mark English, Jim Lietz, Joe Kuhn, Troy Martin, Karter Stark, Tim Anderson, Justin Schelitzche, Keagan Benz, John Litz, Dale Louze,Derek Zblewski, Morgan Zerwinski, and Julia Pirog.
For the heat races, it was Morgan Zerwinski taking home heat race 1. Tim Anderson won Heat race 2. Mark Dewey won the 3rd Heat race.
After a long and rough battle all over the place, Matt Berger took home the win in the feature. Jason took home 2nd after doing everything he could to get Matt but just could not make it happen. Joe Kuhn took home 3rd. He was followed by Mark English and Josh Wilhite in 5th. In 6th is was Mark Dewey and he was followed by Phil Malouf, Anna Malouf, Jim Lietz, and in 10th was Morgan Zerwinski. 11th on back was Shawn Kemnettz, John Lietz, Justin Schelitzche, Troy Martin, Keagan Benz, Tim Anderson, Keagan Benz, Derek Zblewski, and Dale Louze.
