This weekend we are back at Madison internation and Dells Raceway Park this coming weekend. For sure a weekend that we will remember.
A recap from last years races:
Last year we had a double header just like we do this year. Madison International Speedway on the ring of fire and Dells Raceway Park. And it was a great show.
Last year at MIS we had 19 drivers show up to take on the small ¼ mile. Both Starks, Mark English, Justin Pearson, and many others took on the challenge. It was Davey Pennel that took home quick time. Last year’s Heat winers were Steve Dickson. Heat 2 was Phil Malouf, and in heat 3 it was Kyle Stark with a slim margin.
Feature time was a battle of battles. Anything could have happened, and it did. Davey Pennel took home the win. He was followed by Karter, Phil, Justin, and Shawn. Who’s the winner this weekend? That you will have to get to the track and find out. But it will bring some great racing just like every other time.
Then last year on Saturday, we where back at Dells Raceway Park. We had 21 cars show up to race and it again was a great show. Kyle Stark took home quick time and set a new track record of 15.437. Wow that was fast. Heat race winners were, Travis Hill for heat 1. Justin took home Heat 2 win. And in heat 3 it was English taking it.
Feature time was one for the books, Justin and Shawn lead the hungry pack to the green flag and everyone doing what they can, with many lead changes, it was Karter taking home the win with his Dad Kyle right behind him.
Who will it be this weekend? Drivers like Phil Malouf, Mark Dewey, Travis Hill, Kamren Hill, and so many others making the run, it could be anyone’s races. Will it be you? The only way to know is if you get out there and try it. You never know. We have seen many drivers just popup and make a statement throughout the years.
So, let’s get ready for 2 great nights of racing. Get your names on the books and lets get out to the tracks. Lets put on a great show like we all know we can. And lets give other drivers a great series to race with.
