Double Header Weekend – WOW – Are You Ready?

This week we have a double header on tap. Madison International Speedway on Friday and Dells Raceway Park on Saturday. What does that mean? Lot more fun trying out 2 more tracks.

With Golden Sands Speedway being the only track running this coming weekend (On Friday, we would love for them to show up on Saturday), we would love to see all the MiniMods/Internationals/Super Bees from State Park Speedway, Marshfield Motor Speedway, Jefferson Speedway, Golden Sands Speedway (Come to the Saturday race), Slinger Super Speedway, and any other place with a 4cyl Mod class. This is your shot to test out other tracks and have fun while doing it. Come to 1 or both days.

Friday August 9th, we will be at Madison International Speedway. MIS is a 1/4 mile track called the Ring of Fire. This is the 4th Annual Cheese Curd Cup. Everything that races will be on this track for the night. Midwest Dash, Hobby Stocks, Bandits, 6 Shooters, Legends, and Bandos. That is 7 divisions on tap. Its going to be a great show.

You will have drivers like Tim Anderson, Phil Malouf, Mark Dewey, Anna Malouf, Justin Pearson, Karter Stark, and so many more showing up for the MidWest Dash. Are you up to have fun and to the task to tackle this track? Get there and find out if you are.

Last year we had 20 cars show up for this even. This event we started out with 13 cars. And it has grown every year sense. Lets keep that going and get even more cars to show up.

Last year we had Mark English taking home Fast time. He was followed by Tyler Deschaine, Karter Stark, John Handeland, and Mark Dewey. Not far behind them, it was Stephen Hillary, Kyle Riedner, Nick Schmidt, Tyler Muller, and Jim Ronspiez. Heat races were won by, Heat 1 – Dan Braun, Heat 2 – Phil Malouf, Heat 3 – Karter Stark. Feature time, man it was a heck of a show. Even for someone that was racing. Lots of action through out the field. I will say, going back on SpeedHive and seeing the lap chart, it was non-stop action through out the field. As passes was being made all the way to the end. Per SpeedHive, it was Kyle Riedner crossing the line first, followed by Mark English, Karter Stark, Tyler Deschaine, and in 5th, Phil Malouf. Following them in 6th, Stephen Hillary, Adam Hayden, John Handeland, Al Strobel III, and Mark Dewey in 10th.

Who will be there for sure? Well, we have already stated a few of the drivers above. But, You should make plans to come out and join in on the fun and take the opportunity to try out another track.

Saturday Aug 10th, we will be at Dells Raceway Park. DRP is a 1/3 mile track. This will be our 3rd year back to this track. This track has great sweeping corners and a lot of speed to it. We will also be running when the big boys are there. So it’s a big stage kind of night. The Super Lates will be running their Badger State 125 Alive for 5 Race #4 that night. And the 602 Outlaw Lates will be running that night. So yes. Only 3 divisions will be on tap.

You will have drivers like Tim Anderson, Phil Malouf, Mark Dewey, Anna Malouf, Justin Pearson, Karter Stark, and so many more showing up again for this race. There may be some Dell’s Bandits looking to put on their Hoosiers to run with us. And many times, they are not to far off either. Seems some of these guys use to run the Outlaw Bandits when they where there. So they know what needs to be done and are willing to make it happen.

Last year we seen Karter Stark take home quick time and I think new track record with a 15.589. He was followed by Mark English, George Sparkman, and Mark Dewey in 5th. Then it was Tim Anderson, Dan Braun, Joe Kuehn, Tim Finstad, Phil Malouf and Michael Meharg rounding out the top 10. Herat 1 winner was Shawn Kemnetz. Heat 2 winner was Phil Malouf. And again, Looking at the Lap Chart on SpeedHive, lots of movement going on through out the race. A few issues did happen and we lost a few cars. But after all said and done, it was Karter Stark for the win. He was followed by Mark English, Phil Malouf, Michael Meharg, and rounding the top 5, Tim Finstad.

Over all, It was great nights of racing. You will never know how you will do till you give it a try. One of our drivers, Mark Dewey is encouraging each of you drivers to go out and give it a shot. You will have fun learning and giving something a shot. He states, he has had more fun this year trying and going to different track and just doing what he can. You should do the same.

So make sure you go back onto Face book and message the page and let them know that you will be coming to run with us. Don’t forget to tell them you will be there for both nights. But, if you are not able to make both nights, we fully understand. That’s fine. Just message us what night you are going to come and race with us.

So we really hope to see each and every driver possible there this coming Friday and Saturday.
