A total of 27 drivers qualified in. The 25 lapper turned into a 30 lap feature. And man it was a show.
But first, qualifying went like this, Karter Stark took home Quick Time. He was followed by Jason Uttech, Blake Nottestad, Mark Dewey and George Bohn in 5th. 6th was Amanda Bohn followed by Tyler Muller, Merek Pankow, Nick Schmidt, and Jose Santacruz in 10th. 11th on back was Carli Lenz, Tyler White, David Russell, Mark English, Anna Hatch, Phil Malouf, Tim Aderson, Anna Price/Malof, Ryan Andrews, Caden Pankow, Josh Kienbaum, Neil Higgins, Mitch Strobel, Morgan Zerwinski, Randall Sanders, Kayden Ellis, and Al Strobel.
The normal Heavy hitters were deep in the field. This was for sure going to stir everything up.
In heat 1 it was Neil Higgins taking home the win. In heat 2 it was Phil Malouf taking home the win. And then you had Karter Stark taking home the win in Heat 3.
Because of the car count, There was a Consy race. 2 would transfer to the last chance race. Morgan took home the win and Randell made the cut to the Last Chance.
Last chance race the top 4 cars would make the feature. With a few issues in the race, after all said and done, it was Phil Malouf taking home the win. With him, Niel Higgins, Anna Malouf, and Anna Hatch able to transfer in. But because of a drop from the feature, Caden Pankow was also able to advance.
It was Carli and Jose leading the stacked field to the green flag with Jose taking the lead. But caution came out for a tire coming off of Mark Eglish’s car ending his night. But trouble also came to Phil’s car as he had to pull the pin. The cars took the cone and got all lined back up with Jose on the inside and Carli on the outside to bring the field back to the green again. Jose getting the hole shot and doing everything he could while Merek Pankow moves forward and is on the move. Meanwhile, everyone is shuffling around, drivers making moves and trying to work through the field. Jason Uttech and Karter Stark making their moves as fast as they could. Finally after a few laps of battling it out, Merek took the lead from Jose all while Tyler Muller is starting to nip at his heals. But it was Karter making his way through fast and not showing any mercy. Finally getting by Jose about lap 19 and setting his sights on Merek. As drivers start setting into their spots and doing what they could, Jason finally makes his way to Jose making the bid for 3rd. But it was not soon enough as Merek and Karter was checked out from the field and battling it back and forth for the last 4 laps of the race. Lapped cars would come into play. The lead being swapped back and forth. Over all and by 0.031 of a second, it was Karter Stark taking home the Win.
In 2nd it was Merek Pankow as he was followed by Jason Uttech, Jose Santacruz, and Tyler Muller rounding out the top 5. ^th on back was George Bohn, Nick Schmidt, Carli Lez, David Russell, and Tyler White in 10th. 11th on back was Amanda Bohn, Niel Higgins, Anna Price, Anna Hatch, Caden Pankow, Blake Nottestad, Phil Malouf, and Mark English.
